About Me
Thank you for visiting my site! I am Gerald Jarmon, II and I played College Basketball at the University of Richmond. At the University, I was a 4-year starter at point guard and led our team to one of the greatest upsets in College Basketball history by beating Syracuse in the first round as a 15th seed my freshman year, which at the time had never been done before!! What a game, what an experience!! I went on to graduate with a B.A. in Speech Communications along with a Minor in Sports Science.
For several years after graduation, I played overseas and toured several countries playing the game I love. Additionally, I have coached at the collegiate as well as high school level and have trained student-athletes of all ages for over 15 years. Prior to attending the University of Richmond, I had the privilege of playing one year at a Prep School in Virginia called Fork Union Military Academy. We were ranked #2 Nationally that year and finished with a record of 28-1. I started at point guard and 7 of our guys went on to play Division I College Basketball!
During my extensive career, I was very fortunate to play on not only some very good teams but more importantly play for some awesome coaches who knew the game as well as how to build a team while at the same time maximize each individual talent. And because of my background and exposure to some of the best that the game has to offer, I have EDUCATED, INSPIRED and CHALLENGED thousands of student-athletes throughout the years since the ball stopped bouncing for me!

From Deep on the Bench to MVP
I remember back when I was in middle school and played for the school team. In 7th grade, I was like the 10th man out of 12 players! Didn't play hardly at all. In 8th grade, I was the 7th man on the team so I played more. Never a starter in middle school nor in 9th grade! But, there was one thing I had that most of the other players didn't: a drive that was always about the next play, summer workouts or next season! I worked and worked each year and it paid off. I started as a sophomore, junior and senior and earned the MVP award of our team my senior year!
